Low cloud with some light rain over Shetland in the morning, turning dry through the afternoon with some brighter spells in the north. Largely dry over Orkney with some sunny spells in the morning, but clouding over late afternoon. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Tonight:

A largely dry evening and night. It will be mostly cloudy, but some clear spells are likely late evening over Shetland. Light winds. Minimum temperature 3 °C.

Thursday 24 April:

A dry day with light winds. Rather cloudy in the morning, but sunny spells increasing through the afternoon. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

A mostly cloudy but largely dry end to the week. Light winds at first, but freshening southerly winds later Friday. Some patchy rain on Saturday and Sunday.
