A selection of the incredible work of Orcadian Jim Baikie is on display at The Orkney Museum this summer.

Jim Baikie (1940-2017) was born at Boathouse, Crockness, North Walls. The exhibition takes you down memory lane through the many aspects of his career.

some of the objects on display central is his guitar and at each side sketches from his Judge Dread art work

His work is probably most known amongst fans of comic books and he worked for  different publishers, like 2000 AD, DC Comics and Marvel Comics.

This is yet another excellent and informative exhibition from our superb Museums Service in Orkney and one not to miss.

The Orkney Museum is open Monday to Saturday from 10.30am – 5.00pm in the summer. Admission is free.

  1. The Orkney Museum is open to the public from 10.30am – 5 pm Monday to Saturday throughout the summer months and and is not closed from 12.30pm – 1.30pm.
