A rather cloudy morning with a few bright intervals breaking through interspersed with showers, especially over Shetland. Drier in the afternoon with longer sunny spells developing. Light winds. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Tonight:

Variable cloud overnight with clear spells. Plenty of long dry spells but a few showers possible. Light westerly winds becoming fresh. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

Sunday 8 June :

It will be a largely dry day with sunny spells but a few showers possible. Fresh westerly winds. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Remaining unsettled with largely cloudy skies but some sunny spells breaking through. Showers continue to spread eastwards with longer spells of rain at times. Light winds strengthening Tuesday.
