The Faroe Islands Team has topped the medal count at the International Island Games 2025 which closed in Orkney on 18 July.

Faroe Islands won 41 Golds, 31 Silver, and 23 Bronze.

In Second Medal position was Jersey with 30 Golds, 25 Silver, and 20 Bronze. And in third position, Guernsey, who had topped the table in 2023, this Games won 20 Gold, 19 Silver, and 20 Bronze.

Twenty Four different Islands participated in the 2025 Games, taking part in 12 different sports.

The 2021 Island Games was postponed due to the Covid pandemic and were held in 2023 in Guernsey.

Orkney, the host island, this year came in at 6th position with 11 Gold, 11 Silver, and 9 Bronze Medals. This was a fantastic result for Orkney. At the 2023 Games their medal count was 1 Silver and 1 Bronze, placing them 20th in the Medal Table.

In 2023, Faroe Islands were 4th in the Medal Table with 17 Gold, 21 Silver, and 26 Bronze. This has been an amazing 2025 Games for them with a haul of 95 Medals.
