Six Community Organisations in Orkney are among 77 in Scotland that have been awarded funding from the Scottish Government for regeneration projects.

The successful funding is from the Strengthening Communities Programme for 2025-26.

The total amount of funding awarded for this round in Orkney is £87,078.

South Ronaldsay and Burray Development Trust£22,950.00
Stromness Community Development Trust£18,137.00

More than £2.5million has been awarded to projects in Scotland.

Announcing the awards Deputy First Minister in the Scottish Government Kate Forbes said:
