There’s a head at either end!

The following day, Mike went back there for his constitutional  and on some thistles coming through the fence round the marshland  he saw a Peacock butterfly.  We’re not sure if they’re actually rare in Orkney,  but we’ve never seen one in nearly 19 years here.  It was the high-light of his walk!

That bit of marshy wild-land is a boon for wild-life!
