A cloudy evening and night with a few passing showers, these becoming fewer later. Becoming windy across Orkney with fresh occasionally strong west or southwesterly winds. Minimum temperature 10 °C.

Wednesday 22 October :

A mostly dry day with some bright or sunny spells and the odd light shower. Fresh southwesterly winds. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Mostly dry on Thursday, the odd shower later. Cold and windy on Friday and Saturday with frequent showers, perhaps some longer spells of rain.
