Clear intervals and occasional showers, some quite heavy especially later in the night across Orkney. Fresh southeasterly winds will continue. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Friday 5 December :

Heavy showers clearing Orkney where the rest of the day will be mainly dry with some sunshine. Occasional showers continuing over Shetland. Moderate to fresh southeasterly wind. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

There will be variable amounts of cloud and bright or sunny intervals along with some showers. Fresh east or southeasterly winds.
