There are currently two exhibitions on at Orkney Museum: a Unique Wartime Photography Exhibition – ‘Recreating the Past Today’, and Contemporary Orkney Creatives.



The World War 2 photography exhibition, includes cameras, how film was developed, and the juxtaposition of ‘Then’ and ‘Now’ images from Hatston.

Today, Saturday 14th March is the first in a series of weekly, interactive talks in The Orkney Museum at 2pm by the 𝘕𝘏𝘚 𝘖𝘳𝘬𝘯𝘦𝘺 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘧𝘧’𝘴 𝘗𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘱𝘩𝘺 𝘎𝘳𝘰𝘶p. It starts with ‘𝘾𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙬𝙨’ – a look at the Leica iii and the Contax.
