Some late brightness and a few showers this evening. Then the rest of the night will see variable amounts of cloud and showers, occasionally heavy, Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Friday 10 April :

Orkney will see the odd shower at first otherwise dry and sunny. Cloudy start with showers across Shetland, turning dry and bright by afternoon. Windy across Orkney late evening. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Shetland wet and windy on Saturday, Orkney seeing rain in the morning. Sunny spells and occasional showers on Sunday and Monday. Breezy on Sunday.
