Today 13 April :

The morning will see sunny spells interspersed with the odd shower. Cloud will increase over Orkney in the afternoon with showers becoming scattered here. Shetland will stay mostly dry and sunny through the afternoon. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Tonight:

The showers over Orkney will clear during the evening. This will leave the Isles mostly dry with clear spells through the night. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Tuesday 14 April :

The day will stay dry with sunny spells, the best of these over Orkney. A moderate southeast wind. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

A band of rain will push north through Wednesday with scattered showers following during Thursday. These showers clear Thursday night to leave Friday dry but cloudy.
