A bright end to the day then a dry and chilly night with long clear spells. Cloud increasing later across Shetland. Minimum temperature 3 °C.

Friday 24 April :

Mostly cloudy and rather cold over Shetland with a few showers arriving from the north. Mainly dry and bright over Orkney. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Mainly dry but rather cold and cloudy over the weekend with the odd shower. Milder on Monday with some patchy rain.
