Today 15 June :

A generally fair days weather in prospect, mostly dry with with rather cloudy skies but some occasional brighter or sunnier spells developing. Winds northeasterly and relatively light. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Tonight:

A dry and settled evening with light winds, Orkney seeing the best of the late sunny periods. The rest of the night will be dry for most with clear spells. Minimum temperature 10 °C.

Tuesday 16 June :

A mostly dry and bright morning with some hazy sunny spells. Turning cloudier through the afternoon for Orkney with the odd spot of rain, but remaining mainly dry for Shetland. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

A changeable period with showers or outbreaks of rain interspersed with some bright or sunny spells. Winds generally southwesterly, fresh at times.
