Any lingering overnight rain, drizzle and stronger winds soon clearing Shetland. Otherwise a dry day with variable cloud and some bright spells, feeling cool in the northerly breeze. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Tonight:

Mostly cloudy overnight with a light breeze, cloud thickening towards dawn for Orkney with a few spots of rain here, a brighter start for Shetland and Fair Isle. Minimum temperature 9 °C.

Sunday 30 August :

A dry and bright day for Shetland but cloud and some patchy rain at times for Orkney, light winds. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

The start of the week will be a little unsettled with rain or showers at times. Strong winds are a possibility on Tuesday and Wednesday and feeling quite cool.
