It will be cloudy with occasionally heavy outbreaks of rain through the morning and early afternoon. Rain turning more showery later through the afternoon but remaining heavy at times. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Tonight:

Rather cloudy in the evening and overnight with fresh northwest winds and showery outbreaks of rain. A few clearer spells possible towards Orkney. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Wednesday 16 September :

Variable cloud and bright spells with a few showers in the morning, becoming dry and bright through the afternoon. Outbreaks of rain, some heavy, spread east in the evening. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Breezy with occasionally heavy rain or showers on Thursday. Bright spells and showers on Friday rain spreading east later. Bright spells and blustery showers on Saturday.
