Tonight:

The evening will be cloudy with scattered showers across Shetland, frequent over Orkney. Frequent showers spread to Shetland for a time around midnight. Becoming mainly dry towards morning. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Saturday 24 October YELLOW WARNING WIND :

A cloudy but mostly dry start becoming showery over Shetland for a time. Strong winds and outbreaks of locally heavy rain spread northeast during the afternoon. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Bright spells and frequent showers becoming windy later Sunday. Frequent showers clear and the wind eases down Monday. Strong winds, showery rain return from Monday night and continue through Tuesday.
