CLAN Haven, the charity’s 28-room accommodation facility, offers accommodation and relaxation for people attending cancer treatments at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (ARI).
It is understood that caregivers and patients are experiencing a major impact of COVID-19 on their lives with health services forced to change in order to ensure the safety of patients.
The CLAN Resource Centre is currently available on the CLAN website.
“We are starting to see people who may be at risk of developing cancer fearing a COVID-19 diagnosis more than a cancer diagnosis.”
There are increasing concerns that people are not accessing the medical care they need due to the fear of infection during the Covid19 pandemic and the repurposing of NHS services.
The amazing lighthouse sculpture project by cancer charity CLAN, ‘Light The North’, took another step on its journey at an event in the Scottish Parliament.
“”The Daisies will commemorate Rick’s memory and our time together.”
Not all processed meats carry the same level of cancer risk.
Each lighthouse will be individually designed and painted by some of the region’s most talented artists
To raise significant funds for their future work CLAN are aiming to Light the North with a sculptural trail.
Information event at Pickaquoy Centre, Kirkwall Wednesday 27 NOVEMBER 2019, from 6pm 8pm.
