Kirkwall BID’s Christmas activities start the weekend of 3rd and 4th of December
Every year local shop M& Co Orkney choose a charity in their local community which will benefit from money raised in their Kirkwall shop.
The bazaar is being staged in the St Magnus Centre, Kirkwall, for the very first time, with stalls set up throughout the whole building on Saturday 26th November 11am-3pm

Orkney’s farming community brought joy to their community yesterday, 29th of December, when a spectacular tractor run filled the streets of Kirkwall with the lights of the festive season.
“Homer genuinely wants his family to have a good Christmas but due to a number of factors, they have no money.”
The farming community in Orkney have organised what will be a fantastic festive show with a decorated parade of tractors on 29th of December starting at 6pm.
It was a story that in the winter of 1942 would set the printed presses rolling from its beginnings in Orkney, south to Edinburgh and onwards to London.
