This short easy walk takes you along the beautiful shoreline of Stromness.
Today, 18th of May, is Fascination with Plants Day. This is an international celebration of the wonder of plants.
By the middle of the 19th Century seeds could be bought in small packets. This meant that no matter where you lived you could purchase packets of seeds and have them delivered to you.
Registration for two long-standing environmental improvement initiatives, Beautiful Scotland and It’s Your Neighbourhood are now open until 30 April 2023 and there is no cost to take part.
A tremendous amount of work has gone into this year’s exhibition which is on till 4pm Saturday 23rd at Stromness Library.
