Over 70 people took part in the event which celebrated inclusion and diversity in the islands.
An event which will celebrate diversity and tolerance will be held on Saturday 28th of August on the Kirk Green, Kirkwall.
“I am happy to give my full support to the organisers of the ‘You can bide here’ gathering, which will be an opportunity to demonstrate Orkney’s wish to welcome everyone to the islands, regardless of race, ethnicity or nationality. “
The protest will be this Saturday, 19th September, at 12 noon.
