This is good to see.
As to those ‘people’ doing that on Hoy – in the article in the Orcadian they repeatedly claim that they aren’t ashamed of their actions or their viewpoint. In which case – how come they didn’t let anyone take photos of their faces?
It was a very strange way to mark Indigenous People’s Day – as far as I can gather their view is that the ’white’ (?) people of Britain are the indigenous people of Britain – well – they’re not! Not by a long way – wave after wave of invasion and migration have produced a truly mixter-maxter race – of whatever shade.
I was at school with a lot of girls whose parents fled from Eastern Europe to escape the Nazis – and they brought with them different food, different styles of clothing, different ideas. And there was the huge input from the Asian population in Bradford. I can’t thank them enough for the food and the music!
What those **** on Hoy don’t seem to understand is, that the ‘British’ people are now a wonderful melting pot of folk from ….everywhere.
Can they not see this? All they need to do is look around them. ‘None are so blind as those who will not see.’
