Liam McArthur, Liberal Democrat candidate for the Orkney Constituency has called on the Scottish Government to provide urgent clarity around future coronavirus restrictions in the islands.
Orcadians have until this Friday, 26th of March , to respond to a Scottish Government consultation on easing up covid restrictions in Orkney.
Primary Schools are set to return on Monday 15th of March but Orkney will continue in level 3 until 26th of April.
There will also be travel restrictions brought into law which up to now have been advisory. This is to prevent the virus spreading and applies to non-essential travel.
