Orcadians will be taking the knee again today, Wednesday 24th of June at 6pm with their doorstep campaign in support of Black Lives Matter.
Two Orcadian women, artist Fiona MacInnes and Kelly Marwick have collaborated to produce a poster for the campaign Black Lives Matter in Orkney.
Orcadians across the county continued with their weekly protest in support of the Black Lives Matter campaign.
Across Orkney people of all ages took part in a Black Lives Matter event organised by the campaigning group Orkney Resists.
Sheku was stopped by police and was held face down on the ground within 46 seconds of the arrival of the first two officers. During the restraint, officers used CS spray, batons, leg and ankle restraints and handcuffs.
