The current exhibition at the Northlight Gallery, Stromness is a showing of new works by Ralph Robinson.

He has made a stunning series of assemblage sculptures called Sands and Strands, each one comprised of sand and beach-found items of a particular beach.  Beaches featured include: Weddell Bay, Pool of Cletts, Newark Bay, Burray Village beach, Sidewall Bay, Sand of Wright and Sandwick Bay.
