Statement

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, AIDA Cruises suspended its entire fleet’s passenger shipping operations (all liners) cancelling all voyages with pre-scheduled departures in the period March 14 through April 4, 2020.

All affected bookings received full refunds, including on prepurchased through AIDA packages and services. For the period, all the company’s employees had the options to either remain on board or leave the vessel and return home (without terminating the job contract with AIDA Kreuzfahrten).

From March 16, 2020, AIDA cruises booked with departures between April 3 and May 31, 2020 (up to and including 3 days before departure) can be rebooked free of charge.
