   This got me remembering the first time I saw The Man Himself. It was 1982 – I was walking through my living room, to the kitchen, the telly was on, on the telly was….. a man, singing ‘Little Red Corvette’ and dancing across the stage.
   I stopped, and said, out loud – “Who is that?”. And that, was – Prince – The Man. This is the actual performance I saw….

   I remember when the film of ‘Purple Rain’ came out, and I went to see it at the local cinema. At the end, someone I knew, who had been sitting a couple of rows in front of me, stood up, turned round and said “I don’t know what you see in him, Bernie – he’s just a dancing prick” I answered…. “Well, Rose what more do you want?”
   But he was, and is, a lot, lot more than his…….. dancing. That was just one of his many, many abilities.
