A mostly cloudy start but dry with light winds and cloud will tend to break up through the morning, leaving sunny spells. However a few showers may break out in the afternoon, more so over Shetland, where a bit cooler. Maximum temperature 11 °C.


Some clear spells, but generally cloudy with the continuing risk of a shower, although Shetland could see more showers around in the evening. Light winds Minimum temperature 2 °C.

Saturday 24th April:

Mainly dry and bright with some sunny spells, but generally cloudy with the risk of a shower, though some rain likely over Shetland in evening. Light winds. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Mainly dry with bright spells on Sunday. Cloudy with rain or showers on Monday and rather cloudy on Tuesday, with fresher northeast winds and a scattering of showers.
