An exhibition by Samantha Clark will be in the windows of the Northlight Gallery, Stromness.

Samantha Clark is a visual artist and writer based in Birsay. Orkney residents may be familiar with her large-scale mural artwork in the hub area of the Balfour hospital in Kirkwall.

From November 12th to 25th, Sam is showing ‘Sea Forms” in the windows of Northlight Gallery in Stromness, a suite of monochrome prints that respond to the forms of sea foam, sponges and corals, and the drawings of Ernst Haeckel that depict microscopic sea creatures. These limited-edition prints are available for sale at Sam’s website at www.samanthaclark.net/shop.
Sam originally trained at Edinburgh college of Art and the Slade School of Fine art, and has carried out numerous public art projects, residencies and exhibitions. She was recently awarded the Royal Scottish Academy William Littlejohn Award.
