A generally cloudy day, although some brighter spells. Mostly dry but a little patchy light drizzle moving east across Orkney early morning then across Shetland around midday. Heavier rain spreads east shortly after dusk. Fresh to strong southerly winds. Maximum temperature 12 °C.
Tonight:
Occasionally heavy rain through the evening and much of the night. Turning dry with a chance of clear spells towards the end of the night.Strong southerly winds veering and easing. Minimum temperature 7 °C.
Monday 15th November:
Dry with good sunny spells. Moderate southwest winds freshening through the day. Cloudier conditions spread east in the evening. Maximum temperature 10 °C.
Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:
Rain much of Tuesday clearing to frequent blustery showers and colder conditions overnight. Showers persisting through Wednesday. Milder on Thursday, dry to start, rain later. Strong winds throughout.
