A fine, dry day with increasing amounts of sunshine. It will become milder, especially across Orkney. However, fresh or strong southerly winds will give a cooler feel at times. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Tonight:

Staying dry overnight with some long clear spells, but the fresh to strong southerly breeze will keep temperatures mild. Winds touching gales around Orkney at times through the evening. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

Sunday 20th March:

Dry and bright with a little cloud at times from late morning, especially across Shetland. Fresh or strong southeasterly winds. Temperatures down from Saturday. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Cloudier on Monday with a chance of some afternoon rain in Shetland. Mild with sunshine on Tuesday, but turning cloudier later on Wednesday. Lighter winds throughout.
