Occasional showers, some heavy, and some clear, bright or sunny intervals. Orkney may see some longer spells of heavy rain. Fresh to strong east or southeast winds, strengthening to gale force across Shetland later. Feeling cold. Maximum temperature 7 °C.
Occasional showers will continue across Shetland with strong to gale force southeasterly winds. Orkney will have some heavy showers at first but becoming mainly dry and clear during the evening. Minimum temperature 3 °C.
Wednesday 23rd November:
Bright or sunny intervals and occasional showers, more frequent over Shetland. Fresh to strong southeasterly winds. increasing gale at times over Shetland. A bit milder. Maximum temperature 10 °C.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:
Sunshine and scattered showers on Thursday, light winds, but strengthening in evening. Mainly dry with some sunshine on Friday and Saturday but rain likely on Saturday evening.
