Tonight:

A continuing chance of a few showers over Shetland otherwise a mainly dry night, cloudy with clear spells. The wind falls light from the evening. Minimum temperature 1 °C.

Monday 8th January:

Sunny spells and the occasional shower for Shetland but dry with increasing sunny periods for Orkney. Light winds. Maximum temperature 5 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Cloudy with sunny spells but mainly dry Tuesday to Thursday. Light winds Tuesday increase to fresh northerly Wednesday and strong on Thursday.
