Today 16th January:

Further frequent snow showers are expected today, heavy and blustery at times and interspersed with the occasional brighter spell. The day will be very cold with a fresh to strong northwest wind. Maximum temperature 1 °C.

Tonight:

Snow showers will continue overnight, these will be frequent, blustery and heavy at times. The night will be very cold as the fresh to strong northwest wind persists. Minimum temperature -4 °C.

Wednesday 17th January:

The fresh northwest wind will turn north and strengthen otherwise the day stays very cold with frequent, blustery and locally heavy snow showers. Maximum temperature 2 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Very cold, frequent snow showers and strong northwest winds Thursday. Less cold, gale force west winds and a band of rain passing north Friday followed by rain and showers Saturday.
