The day will stay mainly dry but cloudy with increasing bright or sunny spells and perhaps the odd shower over Shetland. The east to northeast wind will strengthen during the day. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Tonight:

The night will continue dry and cloudy with clear spells, these mainly during the evening. The north-easterly wind will strengthen further overnight. Minimum temperature 3 °C.

Tuesday 2nd April:

Another dry but cloudy day with the occasional bright spell. It will be colder with strong northeast winds continuing. Maximum temperature 6 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Cloudy but dry Wednesday. Thursday and Friday stay cloudy with rain and showers interspersed with bright spells at times.
