Today 3rd May:

It will be a dry day and mostly sunny . Feeling warm again, particularly on the west side of both Orkney and Shetland. Light east winds. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Tonight:

Staying mostly dry with clear periods but patches of mist and low cloud will begin to affect the Isles later tonight. Minimum temperature 9 °C.

Saturday 4th May:

Staying mostly dry but low cloud and haar will become more extensive. There may even be a little drizzle, especially later in the day. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Mostly dry Sunday and Monday with light winds and fairly extensive haar, becoming more patchy during each day. Rather cloudy Tuesday with a band of light rain crossing the Isles.
