On many a day in summer, especially on busy cruise ship days, it can be difficult to get away from crowded streets. Early evenings are an excellent time to stroll through Kirkwall. It was on such a lovely July evening that we took ourselves into Tankerness House Gardens to enjoy the flowers and shrubs in bloom.
