A dry day with plenty of sunshine across all parts. Some low cloud may come and go this afternoon. Quite warm in the sunshine, especially across Orkney. Maximum temperature 19 °C.

Tonight:

Dry and clear this evening. The rest of the night will be dry with prolonged clear periods. Chance of the odd fog patch across Orkney. Minimum temperature 11 °C.

Thursday 19th September:

Shetland becoming cloudy with a little drizzle. Orkney will be dry and bright but likely to cloud over later. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

A cloudy few days to come with a little drizzle at times. Winds remaining light.
