Cloud may break to give a few brighter spells, the best chance on the west side of Orkney. However, cloudy for most with occasional haar and drizzle. Winds remaining light east or southeasterly. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Tonight:

It will remain largely cloudy for most with occasional haar and patchy light drizzle. Winds will remain light east or southeasterly. Minimum temperature 9 °C.

Saturday 21st September:

It will remain cloudy throughout the day. Occasional haar and patchy light drizzle for Orkney. Some haar and drizzle at first for Shetland, but cloud will start lifting later. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Staying generally cloudy on Sunday, but some brighter spells possible for Shetland. A change from Monday with winds increasing from the north bringing scattered showers and a fresher feel.
