A mostly cloudy morning with a little drizzle at times. However for Orkney some brighter, perhaps even sunnier, spells are expected to develop towards midday and through the afternoon. The southerly breeze will be fresh at times across Shetland. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Tonight:

A cloudy start, with patchy drizzle, this evening across Shetland but clearer conditions over Orkney spreading to Shetland by midnight. However cloudier conditions return to both by dawn. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Wednesday 6th November:

A rather cloudy start with perhaps a few spots of drizzle but cloud breaking though the morning with some sunny spells developing for the afternoon. Very mild, especially Orkney. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Rather cloudy through into the weekend, with a few spots of drizzle at times, Orkney perhaps seeing some brighter or sunnier spells. Occasionally fresh southerly winds.
