Orkney’s farmers excelled, yet again, with a series of Christmas Tractor Runs, raising money for two local charities.

The main event took place on Friday 27th December in Kirkwall with tractors, and other vehicles, leaving the Mart at 6pm to make their way around the town’s streets.

Orkney’s Christmas Tractor Run will be raising money for two local charities: Orkney Prostate Awareness, and Orkney Kidney Patient Association.

Further events took place across the islands, bringing light and delight to the crowds who came out to watch them.
