If you’ve just bought a house or are renting un-furnished accommodator – have a look in re-start Orkney where they have everything from big pieces of furniture, to pots& pans and crockery.

It’s not just good for when you’re starting out furnishing where you live – our neighbour came home with a little Bamboo & Rattan table for £10  (the kind of thing James Braxton goes for on ‘Antiques Road Trip’) and three big, colourful plant-pots for £3 each!

Last time we were there we were pleased to find a Ted Hughes book of poetry which we didn’t have, and a Johnny Winter C.D. which we didn’t have.

No need to buy new – have a look in re-start Orkney where there’s something for everyone.

Restart Orkney is a charitable company, so by buying from restart Orkney you’re helping others as well as helping yourself!
