A mainly dry day, perhaps a brief light shower across Shetland. A rather cloudy day but Orkney may see some brighter spells. Light to moderate northwesterly winds. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Tonight:

Orkney will have a dry evening and night. Shetland will be mainly dry overnight with a good deal of cloud and just the odd light shower. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

Wednesday 7 May:

A dry day with a few bright spells although a fair amount of cloud around too. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Remaining dry and settled with bright spells but some cloudier weather at times too. Light winds.
