A smaller group than on the two previous walks set out from the Deerness Hall on another exceptionally bonnie morning.  Altogether there were eight folk and three dogs, but this time no bairns, either walking, being carried or in buggies, which was a miss.

A short walk east along the main road and then turning right down past Pickeltillum and onwards past the very tidy house and farm buildings at Millhouse.  On display in front of the house were two large old mill stones, a reminder of bygone days as was the Old Mill of Millhouse which we passed further along the farm track.  

At the end of the track we joined the public road, turning right past Quoys and Myrtle Cottage where we spoke briefly to Alison and Linda.  Onwards then to our destination, the car park at the east end of Newark Bay passing Links Cottage where we had a quick catch up with Jean Corsie who was busy in her garden.  

At the end of our walk everyone said how much they had enjoyed it and then we all went our separate ways.
