The day stayed fine for the tenth Deerness Vintage Rally organised by the Orkney Vintage Club. There was lots to see: tractors, motorbikes, farm machinery, standing engines, and classic cars.

Alan Scott was presented with a life membership of the Orkney Vintage Club in recognition of the important contribution he has made not just to the club but to the preservation of the heritage of Orkney.

The Deerness Community Association provided ample refreshments on the day and the Orkney Traditional Music Project kept folk entertained.
