Today 17 July :

Haar across the north of Orkney until mid-afternoon otherwise dry with warm sunny periods. Haar across Shetland will soon clear eastern parts with warm and sunny spells soon following. Maximum temperature 19 °C.

Tonight:

The evening will see clear periods across Orkney with haar over Fair Isle and Shetland clearing north during the early hours of Friday. Minimum temperature 11 °C.

Friday 18 July :

Most of the day will be dry, warm and sunny. Further haar will push west to Orkney from Friday evening. Maximum temperature 19 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

A few showers at times but these will be interspersed with warm and sunny spells. Low cloud will be extensive and haar patchy.
