The Doors Open events for Orkney will be held on 13 and 14 September.

This is a great opportunity to see round buildings and find out more about them.

 This year’s theme Windows to the Past, Doors to the Future explores how Scotland’s buildings link our heritage with the future. Doors Open Days is run by the Scottish Civic Trust. It is part of European Heritage Days alongside Scottish Archaeology Month, coordinated by Archaeology Scotland. Both are supported by Historic Environment Scotland.
