The West Mainland Show will be held at Dounby on Thursday 7 August.

There’s plenty to see round the showground.

At Dounby Community School the Horticultural and Industrial Show will have its displays of what the local gardeners have produced and there is always an array of wonderful crafts to see.

Stagecoach are running shuttle buses from Kirkwall and Stromness.

The weather looks like there might be a few showers on the day, but with the winds easing.
