The weather, which has been so variable these last few days, stayed fine but breezy for The West Mainland Show, Dounby on Thursdays 7 August. After a cautious start the crowds flocked in to this important date in the farming calendar.

The many stalls and amusements were busy.

In the Dounby Community Centre, the best produce from the gardeners and crafters of the West Mainland was on display for two days, 6 and 7 August.

The work of all ages was exhibited. A fine display.
