Parkinson’s UK is aiming to help more Orkney residents access local wellbeing and physical activity services.

The Physical Activity Grants programme has been running since 2021 and in that time more than £700,000 has been awarded to local groups and activity providers across the UK.

Grants of up to £3,000 are available to support physical activity projects for people with Parkinson’s.

Applications close on Thursday 2 October.

Parkinson’s UK are also running a new pilot grants programme to help more marginalised communities to deliver physical activity sessions for people living with Parkinson’s. Find out more about the physical activity grants for marginalised communities. Applications will close on Sunday 10 August.
