The current exhibition upstairs in the Orkney Museum, Kirkwall is ‘Lines of Light, Letters of George Mackay Brown.’

The exhibition celebrates the relationship which developed over years between the artist Ian Charles Scott, and Orcadian poet, George Mackay Brown.

Around the walls of the room are stunning artworks by Ian Scott featuring the poet. In the centre of the room, running down its length, are letters between the poet and Scott.
